{"id":7762,"date":"2010-08-31T08:17:09","date_gmt":"2010-08-31T06:17:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.isnochys.de\/?p=7762"},"modified":"2010-08-31T08:17:09","modified_gmt":"2010-08-31T06:17:09","slug":"bad-universe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.isnochys.de\/?p=7762","title":{"rendered":"Bad Universe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t like Phil Plait.<br \/>\nI like <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/badastronomy\/\">his blog<\/a>, but not his person.<br \/>\nNow, he has a <a href=\"http:\/\/dsc.discovery.com\/videos\/bad-universe\/\">tv show<\/a>.<br \/>\nOf course, as slave to the discovery universe, he is the right choice for a Mythbusters rip off.<br \/>\nIn the first episode, he tris to explain, what can be done, if we detect an asteroid on collision course with earth.<br \/>\nThe effects and experiments are cool.<br \/>\nBut not his voice.<br \/>\nHis narration is absolutely horrible.<br \/>\nEvery 2 seconds something with &#8222;holy maccaroni&#8220;, &#8222;holy starpuke&#8220;, etc.<br \/>\n&#8222;look here this is cool, I am cool, this is so exciting..&#8220;..ADHD someone?<br \/>\nThe same way, as Brian Co<del datetime=\"2010-08-31T06:04:37+00:00\">ck<\/del>x<br \/>\n(See, what I did there?)<br \/>\nWhere is Carl Sagan, when you need him?<br \/>\nAlways quiet, always calm.<br \/>\nNever shouting and jumping around.<\/p>\n<p>Compare this to Mythbusters.<br \/>\nAdam Savage is really funny.<br \/>\nBut without his counterpart, Jamie Hyneman, he would be totally annoying.<br \/>\nAs is Phil Plait.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t like Phil Plait.
